Bringing countless smiles through our airport taxi rides.
Airport Pickups Barcelona is a private chauffeur service operating from Barcelona El Prat, Girona and Reus airports. We take pride in delivering stress-free transportation with warmth and professionalism, whether you are travelling alone, with family, or for business.
A price before a journey
Every transfer is quoted as a fixed total for the whole car, agreed in writing before you travel and including tolls and luggage. There is no meter running on the motorway and nothing added at the end.
Flights, not schedules
Give us a flight number and we track it. If you land ninety minutes late, your driver is there ninety minutes later at the same price. Meet and greet inside arrivals is standard, not an extra.
Drivers who speak your language
Our chauffeurs are licensed, insured and multilingual. They know which terminal your cruise ship uses, which road to Lloret is quicker on a Saturday in July, and where the entrance to your resort hotel actually is.
Send these five things and we can quote immediately: pickup point, destination, date and time, number of passengers, and how many suitcases. Add the flight number if you are arriving, and a location pin if the address is rural.
We reply with a fixed total for the whole car. Your reservation is confirmed once we answer.
How to reach us
WhatsApp: +34 603 734 779 — answered 24 hours, usually within minutes. Phone: +34 603 734 779 Area: Barcelona and all of Catalonia.
Already travelling?
If your flight has changed or you cannot find your driver at arrivals, message the same number. Someone is awake.
Barcelona's cruise berths are not close together. Moll Adossat holds terminals A to E at the far end of a long working breakwater with no pedestrian access. The World Trade Center terminals sit much nearer the bottom of La Rambla. Arriving at the wrong one costs twenty minutes you may not have.
Send the ship name and sailing date when you book. We check the berth for that date and drive you to the correct terminal building. Coming back, we time the pickup against your disembarkation slot rather than the ship's arrival time — those are usually an hour or more apart.
Turnaround days are busy, with several ships loading at once. We build that into the timing, and if a post-cruise flight is tight we will say so honestly rather than let you discover it at the terminal.
Questions
Which terminal will my ship use?
Send the ship name and date and we will confirm. Large ships usually use Moll Adossat A–E; smaller vessels often use the World Trade Center.
Can I walk from the terminal into town?
Not from Moll Adossat — it is a working breakwater with no pedestrian access. From the World Trade Center it is about ten minutes to La Rambla.
How early should I arrive for boarding?
Most lines want you there two to three hours before departure. Tell us your boarding time and we work backwards.
Do you handle several large suitcases?
Yes. Four fit a sedan; for more, ask for the van.
What if the ship docks late?
We track the arrival the same way we track a flight and adjust at no extra cost.

Send your pickup point, destination, date, time, passenger and luggage numbers on WhatsApp. We reply with a fixed price, usually within minutes, at any hour. Your reservation is confirmed when we answer — no deposit, no card details on the site.
What types of rides do you offer?
Airport pickups, city-to-city transfers, hotel drop-offs, cruise terminal transfers, private tours, executive travel and event work.
Are the drivers professionally trained?
Yes. All drivers are licensed, insured and experienced, and speak Spanish and English — several also speak French and Catalan.
Do you offer services for groups or families?
Yes. An eight-seat van is available on request for families, teams and anyone with more than four large cases.
How early should I book?
Twenty-four hours is comfortable, and we accept last-minute requests subject to availability. For an early-morning departure it is worth messaging the night before.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Give us the flight number and we track the arrival ourselves, adjusting the pickup time at no extra charge.
Where does the driver meet me?
Inside the terminal at arrivals with a name sign, after you have collected your luggage. Kerbside pickup can be arranged if you prefer.
How do I pay?
Cash or card with the driver at the end of the journey. Business accounts are invoiced monthly with IVA.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The quote is the total for the whole car including tolls and luggage. Only an added stop or a change of destination alters it, and we tell you first.
Can you carry child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Tell us the children's ages when you book so we bring the right ones.
A Mercedes sedan, an eight-seat family van and the licensed eco taxi — all insured and kept immaculate.
Executive sedan
Mercedes Sedan
The executive standard. Leather, generous rear legroom, and a boot that genuinely takes four large cases rather than three and a squeeze. This is the car most couples and business travellers book.
Eight seats and a full-height boot. Book this one for families, teams and anything bulky: golf bags, surfboards, a travel cot, or a pushchair that has to travel alongside four suitcases.
The licensed black-and-yellow Barcelona taxi — hybrid, low emission and permitted everywhere in the city's low-emission zone. The most economical choice for short runs and the cruise port.
Case counts assume large check-in suitcases. Four adults with four cases fit the Mercedes; add a fifth person,
a pushchair or a set of golf clubs and it becomes the van. If you are close to the line, tell us what you are
carrying and we will say which car to send — it costs nothing to ask and saves a difficult conversation at arrivals.
Private chauffeured transfers across Barcelona and Catalonia. Immaculate vehicles,
multilingual drivers, flight tracking as standard — and a price agreed in writing before you travel.
Choose the car, or tell us the passengers and luggage and we will choose it for you.

The executive standard: leather, generous rear legroom and a boot that takes four large cases properly. Our most-booked car for couples and business travel.
Catalonia is full of places that are easy to reach by car and awkward by anything else. The medieval villages of the Empordà sit twenty minutes apart with almost no bus between them. The Costa Brava coves are each down their own single-track road. A masia in the hills may have a name rather than a street number.
These are the journeys we do best. Send a Google Maps pin from your booking confirmation and the driver goes straight to the gate, rather than circling a village asking directions.
Common intercity runs include Barcelona to Girona and its old town, Tarragona and the Roman quarter, Sitges, Vic, Figueres for the Dalí museum, and the whole arc of coastal villages from Blanes up to Cadaqués.
Questions
Can you find a house with no address?
Yes. Share the Google Maps pin on WhatsApp and the driver navigates directly to it.
Do you cover the Costa Brava villages?
All of them — Lloret, Tossa, Begur, Calella de Palafrugell, Cadaqués and everything between.
Can you wait while we visit somewhere?
Yes, waiting time is arranged in advance and quoted with the journey.
Do you drive to weddings?
Regularly. Send guest numbers and timings and we will quote the whole movement including late returns.
Is the price still fixed for these routes?
Yes. Every intercity journey is quoted as a total before you travel.

Lloret is the single busiest destination on this coast, and the reason most people arrive tired is the transfer bus. It is cheaper per head, but it calls at hotel after hotel and can add ninety minutes to a travel day that started before dawn.
A private car runs the AP-7 to exit 9, then the GI-600 over the hill into town: about seventy-five minutes when the motorway is clear, closer to ninety on a July Saturday. For four people the total cost is usually close to four bus seats, and you go straight there.
Seafront hotels are simple drop-offs. Apartments up behind Fenals and towards Santa Cristina sit on steep, narrow streets, so send a location pin and the driver will arrive at the door rather than circling.
Questions
How long does it take?
About an hour and a quarter for 105 km, longer on peak summer weekends.
Is it cheaper than the transfer bus?
Per person the bus wins for one or two travellers. For four the totals are close, and the car is direct.
Can you reach apartments above Fenals?
Yes — send a Google Maps pin and the driver goes straight to the entrance.
Can you collect us for an early flight?
Yes. For a 7 a.m. departure we would normally collect around 4 a.m. Book it with the arrival.
Do you serve Blanes and Tossa too?
Yes, both are quoted the same way as a fixed total.

A long journey by taxi is a different proposition from a city ride. There is no meter running for four hours and no surprise at the end: we quote the whole trip as a single figure before you leave, including tolls, and that figure is what you pay whatever the traffic does.
For two or more people the arithmetic often surprises passengers. Against two AVE tickets plus a taxi at each end, a private car door to door can cost the same or less — and it leaves when you want, stops when you want, and carries as much luggage as fits in the boot.
Andorra in the ski season is our most requested long run, followed by Valencia, Zaragoza and Madrid. Winter journeys over the Pyrenees depend on conditions at the pass, and we will tell you honestly if a departure should move rather than set off and hope.
Questions
How far will you drive?
Anywhere in mainland Spain, and into Andorra and southern France. Andorra, Valencia, Zaragoza and Madrid are the most common.
Is it cheaper than the train?
For one person, usually not. For two or more with luggage it is often comparable once you add the taxi at each end — and it is door to door.
Do you stop on the way?
Yes. A comfort stop on any journey over two hours is normal and costs nothing extra.
What about the return?
Book both legs together and we hold the driver. Return journeys are quoted at the same fixed rate.
Can you carry skis?
Yes, in the van. Say how many sets when you book so we send the right vehicle.

Reus handles a large share of the Costa Dorada holiday traffic, and it is about ninety minutes from Barcelona on the AP-7. The two most common bookings are Barcelona El Prat to Reus for a connecting flight, and Reus arrivals down to the resorts at Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda.
Airport-to-airport transfers are worth pre-booking rather than hoping. Taxi supply at Reus follows the flight schedule, so a delayed evening arrival can find an empty rank; a booked car is already waiting whatever time you land.
For PortAventura we drop at the resort hotel entrance inside the complex, not at the main park gate — which matters when you are arriving with tired children and four suitcases.
Questions
How long from Barcelona to Reus Airport?
About an hour and a half by road, depending on traffic on the AP-7.
Do you meet arrivals at Reus?
Yes, inside the terminal with a name sign, and we track the flight.
Can you take us to Salou or Cambrils?
Yes — both are around fifteen to twenty minutes from Reus Airport.
Will you drop at our PortAventura hotel?
Yes, at the hotel entrance inside the resort rather than the park gate.
Are child seats available?
Yes, free of charge — tell us the ages when you book.
